GrowthMindset was founded on a clear belief: education extends beyond the classroom, and children thrive when families, educators, businesses, faith communities, libraries, and community organizations work together.
We create community-centered educational experiences that make literacy engaging, accessible, and meaningful. Through collaboration, GrowthMindset connects children and families with books, resources, encouragement, and opportunities that support learning beyond the school day.
That commitment led to the creation of Lansing Reads Together, our signature community literacy initiative.

Meet The Founder
GrowthMindset was founded by educator and literacy advocate Sheree Huntley, whose passion is helping children, families, and communities build lifelong confidence through literacy.
With more than a decade of experience in education, student support, and community engagement, Sheree believes every child deserves access to books, encouragement, and opportunities that inspire a love for learning.
GrowthMindset was created to bridge the gap between schools, families, and the community by creating engaging literacy experiences that make learning accessible and enjoyable.
